This video showcases the work done by the affiliates of the Florida AFL-CIO as they fight for working families against corporate and legislative tyranny. This video details the Fight for Florida press conference and Senate floor debate on the privatization of Florida's correctional facilities, the Senate Commerce and Tourism committee meeting, where SB 1140 was passed which would allow women that have suffered domestic violence to qualify for unemployment, and a press conference held by health care workers and educational professionals who delivered the message that healthcare professionals and educators won't stand for Gov. Rick Scott's false choice of robbing Medicaid to begin replenishing cuts to public education.
