This spacious and comfortable waterfront home features a panoramic view of Bayou St. John and a private beach on the intercoastal waterway and a dock with two slips available for your boats adjacent to the dock. OSPREY LANDING combines the privacy of Ono Island and the amenities and convenience of Orange Beach with over 4,200 of well-organized living space, 1,200 sq ft of screened in porches and and a 40'x 40'dock. The two story home with easy access at ground level features two living areas, 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths and an HDTV with Dish satellite service in both living areas and bedrooms. A blue ray DVD is located in each living area. An elevator is available for anyone having difficulty with the stairs and also for reducing the number of trips up and down the stairs to the upper level. More and more this home is being used for corporate retreats and family reunions when you may have a special occasion and not all guests are staying in the home. The open floor plan of the upstairs living area creates wonderful space for gathering of friends and family. Both lanai's are a natural transition from both living area, but the upstairs lanai has patio dining for 8 which can be expanded. The lanai can accomodate 4 additional card tables with 16 bamboo folding chairs. If the dining table is the buffet table,the dining room chairs and other miscellaneous chairs can add 16 additional chairs to be located throughtout the open living area. While we do not want to encourage abuse of the property, we value providing accomodations which support families functions and business groups. The dock is an entirely additional living space. A refrigerator with small freezer(for your fish) is conveniently located on the dock along with a small bar, built in bench, swing, adironack chairs and some very comfortable folding recliners. There are folding lounge chairs and other light weight chairs available for the beach. We even have beach towels! Two sets of washers and dryers are available to support the laundry created from a week at the beach. For the young ones a pack and play, high chair, trundle beds near the master are available which prevents having to transport as much gear for the little ones. There are also small adironack chairs for them to use on the beach and some toys for the sand. If you let us know special needs ahead of time, we will do our best to accomodate your family. Osprey Landing is named for the osprey family, Lucy and Desi, who occupy a nest in the middle of the wetland area. Where there are osprey, there are herons, pelicans, dolphin and fish among other species we are still learning about. No, we do not have alligators; they are at the reserve. At Osprey Landing, you can commune with your family and friends, you can commune with nature and you can commune with God and remember all that we have to be thankful for.
