Dec 26, 2009 - Nice storage system - cheaper alternative especially if you have pieces of ribbon and not complete spools = put the ribbon on a safety pin, doubling up the length if needed then slide the pins onto scrapbook hinged binding rings ! Mine are colour co-ordinated on each ring and then the rings are slid onto a piece of batton which is attached to the wall by 2 hooks like big cup hooks.

It was not my idea originally but came from another scrappers video but she just had all long ribbons on pins and the small pieces in a jar which would drive me mad. I have all my ribbon on safety pins even pieces 1" long as I sometimes just need a tiny piece to attach to a tag or something so I don't throw any away.

I have each colour on a seperate ring so I can remove that ring and lay all the ribbons across the card I am making do decide which looks best without unrolling any of them and then having to roll them back up again. Saves time and makes life easy !!!
