Glenn Thibeault holds the government to task on the delay of bill C-36, the updated Consumer Product Safety Act. The bill is in the Senate, again, 14 months later after it was previously held up with prorogation. With the holidays approaching there is more need more than ever for strong product safety legislation so that children aren't receiving toys from Santa that are laced with cadmium or lead. This bill needs to be passed now so that Canadian children can be protected from harmful toxic toys. (November 26, 2010)
